A ball peen hammer. You use it to smash your hand if you reach for a training aid at a golf superstore or before you click “complete purchase” on a website. That will save you more money and strokes than anything else…and cause less injury than most of them.

So I guess that rules out the Ledbetter Swing Setter.
Good thing you wrote this. I was going to get one to perfect my shank.
ROFLMAO
Monte,
I love your blog and intend to use your webservice as soon as I get some video done.
But you are killing me!
I found a training aid that I love!
The Orange whip has helped me with feeling proper use of my body and is actually a pretty good light workout.
I normally don’t go for aids but this one is really good for learning how to use your body to create power while letting centripital force help you feel a proper release of the club.
Ric
Ric, I am not familiar with that one, but…
If it has the potential to cause injury, fake a movement or create a bad movement to mask another bad movement…it’s bad for you.
Can you recommend a shaft flex and swing weight in the hammer?
