“No turn cast” video coming Sunday or Monday

There is a price and you all will have a job.

When the people who didn’t listen make comments like, “Your (intended misuse) an idiot and should not be allowed to teach golf for telling people they are not supposed to turn and cast the club. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen and I would not be surprised if you can’t break 90.”

I would appreciate you all respond so I don’t have to. 馃榾

Not trying to turn “can” facilitate a good turn.

Trying to cast “can” eliminate a horizontal cast.

Some people are by nature completely literal and can’t
get past the written or spoken words.

Out of curiosity Monte – right now, do you estimate that the number of people who will either understand or accept your argument will outnumber the people who won’t?

There are alot of people out there that are bloody minded and argumentative from birth. Best ignore them and keep posting your really good stuff that most of your fans appreciate. I, like many others, wish we lived closer to Irving Ca in order that we might
benefit even more from your personal lessons

One of Monte’s strong points: he realizes that one way of putting things won’t work for everyone. If we look at psychology, they tell us that people are said to prefer one type of thinking over the other.

For example, a person who is “left-brained” is often said to be more logical, analytical, and objective, while a person who is “right-brained” is said to be more intuitive, thoughtful, and subjective.

    The Right Brain

According to the left-brain/right-brain theory, the right side of the brain is best at expressive and creative tasks. Some of the abilities that are popularly associated with the right side of the brain include:

    路 Recognizing faces
    路 Expressing emotions
    路 Music
    路 Reading emotions
    路 Color
    路 Images
    路 Intuition
    路 Creativity

    The Left Brain

The left-side of the brain is considered to be adept at tasks that involve logic, language and analytical thinking. The left-brain is often described as being better at:
    路 Language
    路 Logic
    路 Critical thinking
    路 Numbers
    路 Reasoning

If there is any validity to this, then different-strokes-for-different-folks.

I can’t wait to try this out myself but I can’t help but laugh a little because all the mistakes you pointed out that most people make described my swing almost to a T. My driver swing starts on the inside, gets vertical, right elbow starts to fly and all I do is try to recover all the way down to the ball which over time I’ve managed to do with some success but I want more. I’m all ears Monte. Keep up the good work.

It sounds wrong to my brain but it does work. It does bring to mind Betty Edward’s book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” . You have to draw what you really see; not what you think you see.

Great post Monte! These are excellent drills to get around the many mistakes listed that I did. P.S. this year I have played better golf than I ever had in the past by only working on your video’s, I work on spine angle at address and that works through to tilt at impact without having to think about it. Setting my wrists early ( as in this video)
and clearing my left hip behind me ( goat humping video) Thanks a lot Monte!
