I was not the best out there, but I was good enough to make it to the final 16 and winners bracket.
Lots of wind. 404, 407 and 433.
That was third, second and third longest of the rounds.
I have to say I nutted up on ball 6 in round 5. That was 433 and I would have been in the losers bracket without that one and I was starting to wear down.
I get a day of rest now. Some great hitters have been eliminated, but round 8 looks tough.
Frank Miller beat me by 2 yards twice.
Yuck!!!!!!!!
Nice work Monte, putting up some solid numbers.
Good job today! Not only did Frank get you by a couple yards now you get to watch him get inducted into the Hall of Fame!
Survive and advance. Nice going. I have a good feeling about this.
This is great! Go get ’em, Monte!
Ha, ha. Too bad for Frank Miller. He used-up his luck early.
Way to go, Monte!
From the program:
“Return to the Tee: Monte Scheinblum
Scheinblum ranked among the best of the best in power golf in the early 1990s, racking up 2-1-2 finishes at the U.S. National Long Drive Championship. After playing professional golf for the past two decades, he’s ready to test the waters of long drive again. The burning question: Will he bring the full Monte?”
LOL
Way to go Monte!
Well done Monte, impressive given you think the fitness could be improved! #moreinthetank
