Good stuff. Thanks for posting. Always interesting to see how the pieces fit together like you explain to him. Can’t wait for part 2.

Fair to say longer hitters hit it further because their upper body moves faster, not the lower body….the lower body moves faster when the upper body lets it?

Can you explain the casting with the left arm away from body drill? I’ve never seen this in any videos of yours and wondering what it fixes and how. Thanks!

It’s for those that keep the left arm pinned to the chest too long and just spin the body. Causes any number of faults. Including, but not limited, to shanks, hooks, slices and fats.

I need to make a video on this.

Isn’t this the first part of ‘no turn cast drill’ though? i.e ensuring you don’t have arm slapped across the chest to start with by ensuring you lift the arms?

    Hi Monte,
Do you have any plans to visit the NY area this summer for lessons?

    Thanks

When it comes to explaining things in the most easily digestible manner, you’re like my Brokeback Mountain…I wish I knew how to quite you. Except I won’t.

Great vid. He asks good questions and your answers make sense.

I get stuck with my Driver all the time and push it right. Is trying to throw the “lag” early to catch up with the lower body a good feeling to emulate.

    Thanks
