Using one of your ‘feels’ of being more vertical going back and less vertical on downswing has worked very well for my irons. Im struggling a bit though with driver. How can i adapt this ‘feel’ for driver or should i try something different.

Yes he does but the things he is saying I have also experienced over the decades. I like his enthusiasm and desire for improvement. This no turn & cast swing is awesome (for certain people). I have most of the swing traits that Brendon has and it is the best fix in history for overswingers, arm lifters and late wrist-setters. When I focus on that drill I feel like I am swing like Hogan looks in the Shells WWoG video if that make sense.

I was thinking the same thing. I’m hoping you mean Brendon. Must be painful giving that guy a lesson.

loving these videos. But how much would you charge Brandon to ride cross country , in a Volkswagen , with the radio broke?

Brendan might be a verbal learner. 🙂
But he is a great student. He seems to capture your every nuance.

I played 14 holes yesterday with my limited understanding of your no turn cast drill with success even with the driver. Played the last four just freewheeling and there is a great carryover effect.

Watching the pros this week I see the bones of your teaching in a lot of swings. You might be some kind of genius.

You might be right about Brendon, but he should listen a hell of a lot more than he speaks. Two ears, one mouth… for a reason.

Thanks Calvin, most people are really liking these videos and I think they are helping a lot of people.

Hi all, Rolf from Sweden here. The no turn cast drill is in my opinion, the best drill ever. I have always fired my hips a la Elvis, and the interesting thin with this drill is that first, you think that slowing up the lower body will result in HUGE hooks. But it does’nt!

A little more complicated to ingrain w the driver though. Looking forward to more coaching here.

    Cheers

I come to this site almost every day hoping that your new “coming soon” driver video will be posted. Any idea of when “soon” will be?

So I’m confused regarding the “intention” which is discussed. Is it firing the left arm off the chest or feeling the club drop “3 feet down” before turning the hips or something else?

I dunno man…those guys telling your friend he talks too much don’t really understand his role in his videos.

Confused… What’s the “intention” that’s meaningful here? Getting the left arm away from the chest? Dropping the arms before turning? Deep hip turn? All of the above??
