A lot of you haven’t seen this one, but it is a great drill that gives you a sense of rhythm, how the hands should set and when and how the club releases.

I’m surprised this one is not titled “Crack Free Golf 101”.
A month ago I was experiencing the most horrendous case of the Hosel Rockets. Since coming across this video and reading your advice on releasing from the top I have been striking it better than ever. I now incorporate this drill into my pre shot routine and just tell myself to “turn and release”, the result has been crisp and consistent striking that I could never have dreamed of.

Monte, I tried this and it really showed a problem I seem to have in transition/towards impact where I do a mini ‘goat humping’. This is funny as it goes against all the things that people have told me why I do the HTG and in fact it seems to be a ‘ingrained’ feeling I now naturally do even if the half backswing is perfect. I’m guessing the cure is to do this drill over and over again???

No, keegan is doing things better than most in spite of his set up and lack of movement of the pelvis in the backswing. He is likely to get back injury with that swing down the line due to his exessive rotation.
