A career first just now

I am having a playing lesson with an out of town client.

Hit a few loose drives because I was crowding the ball and was a few over, then we got to 13.

368 par 4, got father from the ball and drove it about 40 yards off the front. Tight front nasty pin to elevated green from tight lie and hit a perfect shot that bounced, checked and trickled in for a 2.

Next hole is a 344 par 4. Just past on high in fringe about 40 feet from hole.

I told my playing partner, “I have made consecutive eagles a few times, but never consecutive 2’s on par 4’s.

I saw it going in the whole way and did a Nicklaus at Augusta walk as it rolled in.

On 15, I almost did it again. From 99 yards I flew it about 18” from hole.

That was exciting for me to experience too. I never played with anyone that had two eagles in round, nevertheless back-to-back on par fours.

I don’t like to brag, but I just want everyone to know that I was beating Monte after the first hole 🙂

Did Bruce yell “yes sir!” as it went in?

Looking forward to some impressive range shots next week.

I wish I would have thought of that at the time, but sadly, I didn’t.
