It can mean two things in context with today’s post. Either the hands or the club (usually both) trace a narrower path coming into the ball than they did in the back swing…from a head on view.
Wide to narrow

This has nothing to do with today’s post, but I need some advice. My daughter just started playing golf she was on the freshman golf team, though she never played in a match. I got her fitted for clubs and the fitter said she should get a hybrid set. The set he recommended is expensive and will her game outgrow those clubs. Also, do those hybrid sets promote a player to not improve there swing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I’m not a fitter but with my oldest son from the age of 5 he had clubs that fit him & as soon as they didn’t I would have the shafts re-done to fit him.
I hate to see little kids trying to swing a club they can’t hardly even pick up.
My oldest is now 26 & if you saw his swing you would think he was on tour. I think growing up and hanging around golf courses & always having the right size clubs made a difference.
Sadly he doesn’t play much due to life in the real world.(work)
