Mark Jensma won the 36 hole final of the Long Beach Amateur Championships 7&6.
This victory is great for two reasons.
1. Any victory in a large field match play event is awesome.
2. He has suffered thorough poor and inconsistent play as he battled significant body changes…and persevered.
He went from a 5-8, 155 pound skinny boy into a 6-0, 190 pound man.
That caused havoc with his swing.
He worked hard, stayed with it and is now on his way to being a great player.
The point for all of you. You need to be aware that physical changes affect your golf swing.

Nice win. Totally get how age and injuries affect me . Lol ion to be young again
Had spinal surgery for stenosis in January. At 73 recovering my game is a real problem.
Anyone who preservers so get a big ovation all around. Just ask Erik Compton.
