OMG, The Haney Project, season 2.

Ray Romano will now have to deal with all that dogmatic techno babble. My guess is whatever Ray’s handicap is now, it will be 5 shots higher two years from now. Here is what will happen. He will practice more than he ever has because of his appearance on the show and wanting to give what Haney tells him a shot and to play good on TV. If you practice something bad or too complicated a lot, the initial result is better play because you are playing and practicing more than usual. Then the bad or complicated method becomes natural and you eventually go back to the old practice routine. That is when your game starts to go down hill. Back to my original point, in two years Romano will have a handicap at least 5 shots high than he does now.

The finniest line I saw about the Haney Project was someone said instead of teaching Barkley to swing like Tiger, he taught Tiger to swing like Barkley.

Hank, I am going to say this really loud so you might hear it.

CHOPS CANNOT DEAL WITH ALL OF YOUR COMPLICATED NONSENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stick with what you know. Making Tiger swing like Mark O’Meara and letting his all time great talent make you look good.

    Ouch! 🙂

You’d think Haney would want to help someone out who has some potential to play well…Like me! C’mon take a normal schmuck and make him better 🙂 Heck, whatever Haney gives me has to be better than what I have now.

You would think so…at least his track record is better than Leadbetter. Ernie Els left him, went to Butch and is pure again. Michelle Wie left him and went to Stockton Sr. and is good again.
