…it is about avoiding things that are really bad.
Like keeping your head down and swinging inside/out. 🙂 🙂 🙂 😉
There are several really wrong things that need to be avoided and that is what a good instructor will do. Tell his students to purge all of the really bad things, instead of forcing them to do it the “right” way and create even more bad habits.
Since there are infinite body types and skill levels, there is no “right” or “correct” way to do things.
Let me give you an analogy on what I mean.
If someone was diagnosed with clogged arteries, doctors don’t tell them to eat more broccoli and be done with it. They tell the patient to stop eating foods with high amounts of cholesterol and salt first and then eat a balanced diet.
It’s the same in golf. You don’t teach someone to force the club on plane, you teach them to reduce the excess movements that get the club off plane and that is what gets the club on plane better…and add balance. 🙂
I know Peltz is a bright guy but I honestly get a headach if I attempt to watch him. He builds you a watch if asked for the time. Actually found the Haney Project funny and the BB usually has a couple babes worth watching and the back biting is amusing.
Great comment on Pelz, and that is exactly my problem with him.
So… British Open…
Is Tiger going to run away with it since he’s not going to use his driver?
All of my predictions about Tiger right now center on one thing. How much is he diving at it. At the Memorial and AT&T it was not much. At the US Open, Masters and especially the Players, it was a lot.
Monte!! It’s me Chip! Remember me? Blast from the past!
I know two Chips from the past, which one are you 🙂
Chip Haugen from Junior Golf in So Cal. For some reason thought of you today and looked you up. How the heck are ya??
Great! Good to hear from you. Been a long time. I have a 7 month old boy running me ragged.
Wow. Cool. Good to hear from you too! Didn’t know if you monitored this blog or not. lol.. Don’t let him run you too ragged! lol..
