A putting stroke…is a mini golf swing.

Please email me, I have an idea.

“A putting strokeā¦is a mini golf swing.”
I love that thought. If you are settled on the mechanics, you don’t have to mentally switch gears for a putting swing.
However, it’s possible to do a lot of things “out-of-sequence” with a full-swing backswing, I think. The worse someone’s regular swing is, the more it would wreck a putting swing.
Apparently many people can use different methods successfully.
This is a nice way to quiet the mind before making a putter stroke, and a good tip for most golfers. It’s easy to get caught up in putting mechanics instead of just hitting the ball into the hole.
I would also add that correct grip pressure in putting is just as important as in the full swing, except for putting much less pressure is required because much less force is created. I find that the lighter I grip the putter, the better my results. If I gripped my putter with the same strength as an iron, I wouldn’t make anything.
Gonna get in the cage with the Lions Monte?
Hope your insurance covers it.
Heck, it is the lions that need the insurance!
